I had went out with one of my friends and her friends and we ended up behind a Super Target. That is where I first saw this guy, didn't think much of it or even thought of dating him to be honest. I had just gotten out of a 2-2.5 years relationship and wasn't really looking for someone. (Mind you I was only 16 at the time) We all hung out & I was just ready to leave, so as we were leaving and I'm sitting in the front seat of the car my friend decides to scream out her window "she thinks your hot". I never said anything about him being cute, hot, etc. I was blushing and totally embarrassed she had screamed that out. I get dropped off at home and my phone starts ringing. It's Kayley (my friend I was just with who embarrassed me) asking me if we want to go camping with them the next night. Thinking in my head, we don't know who this guy is or his friends.. But as a wingman you have to go along to help a friend out right? So, like a good friend I went along.
The next night were in the woods where there was a bonfire going on and a bunch of people just hanging around. I don't remember too much of that night since it was forever ago, lol. But I remember all of us laying in a tent and Henry and I just cuddling and he goes "will you go out with me?" I know what you're thinking, you just met him, your crazy! Yeah, I thought I was crazy also because I said yes. I felt that if I said no I would hurt his feelings and I didn't want that. So, on that night February 20, 2006 is when we started dating. :)
2 years and some months later, I was 18 years old and Henry was 19 years old. We were living together by now and engaged, everything was great until I was late... Nervous as anything I took a test and yes this little sign (+) popped up & I found myself pregnant. (That's another story to come later) We had our first son Cameron on July 3, 2008. One of the best days of my life. Every time we went over to Henry's parents out we always got asked "when are you guys going to get married?". Truth is I felt a little pressured because not only is having a child with someone a big deal but being married is a forever commitment. Was I ready for that? I wasn't sure but we decided to tie the knot on December 20, 2008 :) Fast forward: Henry and I got pregnant in 2009 with our second little boy, he joined the Army and left for basic in 2009, he graduated basic, had the baby, moved back home, he deployed all in 2010, 2012 we got pregnant with our 3rd son and Henry got promoted, and finally in 2013 I had the baby and Henry deployed AGAIN! Crazy few years but all worth it :)
Even though I was eary about saying yes I'm so happy I did. I love Henry more then anything and I love our three amazing little boys we had along the way. We will be together always & forever. <3
